Aging/Dry Skin
As you age, several components of your body’s production slow down. Some of them directly affect the skin. For instance, collagen and elastin (two proteins in your skin) production slows, causing the appearance of sagging and wrinkles. In addition the mechanisms that keep your skin hydrated also decrease. This dryness/dehydration leads to most of the signs of aging in the skin.
By focusing on moisture and cell turnover, you can supplement the processes that are slowing in your body, decreasing wrinkles, fine lines and sagging.
